Yesterday, I made bread.  It’s no secret to my friends that I love to cook and lately I have been working on my baking.  It was whole wheat bread and came out well.  The only problem was it was a bit too dense, so I will be fixing that with a longer rise next time.

As I set it out to rise, the towel cover caught fire.  I forgot to turn the burner off.

I am making some sourdough starter.  It bubbled up quite a bit and the cheesecloth got a bit grody.  Gross stuff.

One of my favorite comics, PvP, is running a storyline in which Cole may be getting a divorce.  I love PvP, but I feel this is best filed under “unnecessary drama.”  It’s just too much for a light-hearted (overall) strip.  But, that’s the way things seem to be.

I find it very out of nowhere for the comic, as well.  There’s been no foreshadowing leading up to it.  The stories are independent from each other, which is why I think this storyline is just a bit too much.

The best episodic item I know of at having independent episodes, yet having awesome continuity is Scrubs.  Each show is hilarious, and the characters grow throughout the show.  I love Scrubs.
